Michelle brought to her Clients 16 years of experience working for national, regional and boutique brokerage firms, prior to forming Buckley Commercial Real Estate in 2013.  She claims the best experience she has had and who has made her who she is today, are her Clients she has worked for along the way.

Expertise

She specializes in Tenant Representation throughout the Carolinas and has been instrumental in store placement and market strategies for national, regional and local retailers throughout her career.  She also assists Buyers in land acquisition for ground-up construction and Single Tenant, Specialty Strip, and Big Box Acquisitions.

I am Michelle Buckley, the Principal of Buckley Commercial Real Estate, which is an exclusive Retail Tenant and Buyers Representation firm based in Charlotte, North Carolina and founded in 2013. My roots are deeply embedded in the world of retail, stemming from a family lineage of retailers. Growing up, my mother worked for a local and family-owned children’s clothing retailer with one location and my father worked for a national apparel chain with over 1200 locations nationwide, while my great grandparents ventured into the restaurant industry where the entire family pitched in when needed. As a young adult, that foundation led me to work in various restaurant and retail positions. Simply put, retail was the topic of daily conversation around our dinner table and a way life.

With my heritage as my backdrop, I have forged a path of excellence in the retail real estate industry. For nearly 25 years, I have passionately served national, regional and local retail businesses like yours, boasting a proven track record of success.

What sets me apart from the competition is that I am also an entrepreneur. I understand the critical importance of making the right real estate decision and the impact on the bottom line. I have a history of cultivating long-term relationships, specifically providing retail commercial real estate services and as a result,  I have clients that have consulted with me for 15-20 years.

My purpose is to truly understand you and your business, and I have a well-defined process for going into a market and moving forward with a strategy that aligns with your brand and/or the franchise brand in mind, and providing to you the necessary information to help you make an educated decision for your location.
